Nice partnerSHIP.
March 1st, 2011, by in Translation
JAST USA has now announced a partnership with 0verflow and Sekai Project to release an English localization of School Days HQ, under their new brand name, “Densetsu”. School Days HQ is a remake of the original game School Days, and it uses a new engine and features new art as well as added events and endings. The official website for the English version of the game is slated to open soon. Sekai Project originally formed to work on an English translation patch for the game School Days. During Anime Expo 2010, they came into contact with the original creators of the game and reached an agreement where they could continue to work on the translation while 0verflow investigated ways to bring the game out in English officially. Sekai Project also assisted 0verflow with running a survey looking into issues that may arise with an official release. According to JAST USA’s Shingo, details on what happens to the fan translation effort are currently being worked out amongst the parties and the three parties have been actively working together.
