Hoshizora no Memoria Fan Translation Released
April 16th, 2012, by in Release, Translation
At the beginning of this month Staircase Subs released a complete fan translation patch for Favorite’s Hoshizora no Memoria. Since then, they have released an update patch to correct some lines from their initial release as well as improve or fix a couple other minor things. Looking forward, Staircase Subs is currently trying to get tools to work on Yuzusoft’s newly released Dracu-Riot, and in the event that they are unable to the plan is to pick up a different title instead.

Hoshizora no Memoria project receives C&D
October 31st, 2010, by in Translation
According to a post on the Staircase Subs website, the translation group has received an email from FAVORITE, the company behind Hoshizora no Memoria. The email asks the group to not distribute things like translation patches of their game through media like the Internet. There had been a small amount of progress on the game translation project, and it appears that some of the more serious technical bugs with the translation had been fixed recently. There had been no patch release from the group, but the project files appeared to have been hosted on Assembla, although the repository currently requires a login.

Off to the polls!
August 26th, 2009, by in Translation
With translation projects for Sengoku Rance and CROSS CHANNEL nearing completion, translators of both projects have each decided to run a poll for suggestions on what to translate next, neither of which are binding. TakaJun has posted a blog entry with a three-part poll asking the reader about favorite aspects in an eroge, reflections on previously translated games and what eroge out of a predetermined list should be translated. Ixrec’s proposed voting system consists of three stages: a nomination stage, a preliminary culling stage and a final vote stage. Nominations are now closed and currently the second stage is open for votes on Amaterasu’s forum.
UPDATE: The results are in for Amaterasu’s poll, with Sekien no Inganock pulling out a narrow victory over BALDR SKY and becoming Amaterasu’s next project.
