After a cryptic poem and just in time for Thanksgiving, insani launches al|together 2008 - Cross the Rubicon, the third iteration of the translation festival and a bold statement on the current attitudes present in the translation community. • A Mirror Of Heaven

November 1st, 2008, by Message in Release, Translation

After three years of hard work, today mirror moon releases their full translation of Fate/stay night, the largest game ever to have been translated to English by fans. The release can patch an existing installation of Fate/stay night (either Japanese or English) or install a new one, supports both the CD and DVD versions of the game and includes an optional voice patch, used to add the Realta Nua PS2 voice acting to all spoken dialogue in the game. Fate/stay night English is released for Windows only and works on both Japanese and non-Japanese locales.

Edit: Due to a nasty bug a new version was released (v3.1), but for the voiced version of v3.1 another small fix is required. See the official post for details.

  • One day, this game will be translated…

September 26th, 2008, by zalas in Translation

Several members from the AnimeSuki forums have started working on a translation for Lump of Sugar’s Itsuka, Todoku, Ano Sora ni. They are currently applying to get a Wikia wiki approved to host their project, but they also have an IRC channel #itsusora located on Rizon. Currently, with the prologue roughly a quarter done, they are looking for people to help with the project, and there is also a poll on whose route to attempt first.
