Dream with me~
June 6th, 2007, by in Release, Translation, VisualNews
Today Peach Princess released an update patch for their popular game Yume Miru Kusuri bumping the game up to version 1.1. This patch goes around and fixes various typos and retranslates portions of the game to make it smoother and more understandable. The patch can be acquired here.
In a more interesting note, Peach Princess working with HGTP, released the Trial Version of Yume Miru Kusuri also. This release is of particular interest as it is one of the few joint fan/commercial productions to date (possibly only?) with Peach Princess providing the translation and HGTP (fans) doing the production work. This utilization of fan resources allows for things formerly not possible, like releasing trial version of games, by Peach Princess because of time constrictions.
The trial edition of Yume Miru Kusuri has been hacked up a bit from the original Japanese version to not include any ero so that it may be enjoyed by audiences of all ages. The full version of the game is only 18+ and no all ages version or patch is planned. If you haven’t bought a copy of Yume Miru Kusuri yet, or wanted to try it out, nows your chance with the demo. Given the overall good reviews and its EGS rating of 77, the game shouldn’t disappoint any visual novel / adv / ren’ai / eroge fan who does decided to make the purchase.
The trial edition of Yume Miru Kusuri can be grabbed from our demo downloads section.
The full version can be purchased directly from Peach Princess or a variety of other vendors.Original post by Misuzu, migrated from VisualNews

Tamaki’s Claw: 4 down, 9 to go
May 29th, 2007, by in Translation, VisualNews
Four days ago Arkanos released an updated alpha patch for Circus’s Da Capo Plus Communication, the adult PC port of the extended PS2 version of Da Capo. The update adds the translation of the Konomiya Tamaki route, adding to the previously translated Kotori, Kanae and Alice routes. Approximately 30% of the entire game is now translated.
The patch can be downloaded from the project website or from our mirror, the game can be ordered from Himeya.
Thanks to Scott for pointing this one out.

A Positive Infusion
May 27th, 2007, by in Release, Translation, VisualNews
Keeping with this year’s fad of creating a flurry of TYPE-MOON related translations, Revolve Translations have released an updated version of Melty Blood English. The installer can be downloaded through http and BitTorrent. Version 1.6 is the second public story mode release and fixes several errors, updates some menu graphics and reinstalls the subtitled opening movie to have the original, unrecoded music.
With this the Melty Blood English project is more or less finalized and the team will now focus on finishing up the expansion, Melty Blood ReACT. Some graphics remain to be translated before internal testing can begin, once that is complete the translation should be ready for release relatively quickly.

Soylations released their Chapter one patch of the DVD version of Utawarerumono today. Utwarerumono is the hit strategy RPG from famed ADV maker Leaf, which follows the story of a warrior who can not remember his past, and the mask on his face that he can not remove.
Of interesting note, the Utwarerumono patch is being translated both to German and English at the same time. Both versions can be downloaded from Soylation’s webpage right now, the English version is also available from our mirror.
Utwarerumono DVD Edition can be bought from Himeya and Palet-Web.

Saber stays the night
May 5th, 2007, by in Release, Translation, VisualNews
It is becoming a busy month for TYPE-MOON fans, as shortly after Revolve’s MB English release mirror moon now presents their translation of the Fate route of Fate/stay night. Also known as the Saber route, this constitutes about one third of the entire game and tells one complete version of the story.
Fate/stay night is a huge adult visual novel released in 2004 by TYPE-MOON. Much in contrast to Tsukihime, Fate/stay night is still available at online stores such as HimeyaShop and PaletWeb (both links not worksafe). The game has gained enormous popularity through its recent anime adaptation, released in the U.S. by Geneon Entertainment, and has since its first release seen a re-release on DVD in 2006 and a voiced PS2 version for all ages less than a month ago.The patch installer can be downloaded here and will work on both the CD and DVD version of the game. Please remember to read the distribution policy before you download. TakaJun has already started translating the Unlimited Blade Works route, so work is expected to continue from here on. We extend our personal congratulations to the mirror moon staff and everyone who has worked on this project.
Note: A new version (1.0a) of the patch has been released to fix a spoiler that was present in the old version.
