Today a translation patch was released for Kikokugai -The Cyber Slayer-, an adult mystery visual novel released in March 2002 by Nitro+. Being created by the same writer, character designer and musician as Saya no Uta, the game might be considered a predecessor to the famous Lovecraftian horror novel from late 2003. It was translated by Makoto, known for his translations of several other Nitro+ games on TLWiki including Saya no Uta.
Kikokugai -The Cyber Slayer- is a science fiction story about a trained assassin, questing to find the man who destroyed his younger sister and exact vengeance. It is set in a dark, future Shanghai, corrupted by mafia control and the Kung-Fu master assassins who work for the rivaling cartels. The game is not voiced, which is supposedly why JAST USA would have no interest in licensing this title for distribution outside of Japan. The translation is released as a simple rar archive, and requires some manual modification of the Japanese game (instructions are given on the project website).

An excellent game, an equally excellent translation – what a bliss.

Ohhh One of my favorite titles!
Glad it got picked up by someone.
I for one don’t care if my visual novels are voiced or not ^^;
