In an odd turn of events, a forum member on the gemot has posted an email that he supposedly received from Kiyobee, a person working at TYPE-MOON, in response to a technical question about translating Fate/stay night into Polish. The email was not an official response on behalf of the company, but rather included Kiyobee’s personal thoughts. Judging from the contents of the email, it looks like he personally is glad about spreading Fate/stay night to many people, although this cannot be construed as an official stance on behalf of TYPE-MOON.

Japanese and English are the only fully supported languages that will display properly in ShiftJIS, and Polish, the language you have been trying to get working, is not supported. Because of this, I’d imagine that problems can occur with Polish.

kirikiri [the Engine used in Fate/stay night] also supports Unicode, so perhaps you can first convert the entire script to Unicode and then change the text. Please give that a shot.

My English reading skills are not very good, so I apologize if I did not fully understand the problem.
