I’m surprised Asakura-imouto wasn’t like, little sister Asakura, but I suppose that could be due to Suginami calling Junichi as Asakura.

You accidentally put Yume into your post, so it was amusing read that she calls Junichi as nii-san.

They did hire a lot of English speaking proofreaders, actually. From what I’ve heard, they *did* work out a lot of kinks. Lots and lots and lots… even with all the small oddities they did miss.

Overall though, the translation reads fine, if a tad stiff. They do pretend the characters are in college though, which is understandable but rather unfortunate when the only “adult” content in the game is, I’d guess, a single scene per girl… I don’t like that that little bit basically has the game classified as “porn”. I’d have been happy to see the “clean” all-ages version, honestly…

What I’m wondering is why they just pulled the game, citing a “bug” and never explaining what the “bug” is. I bought the game within hours of it going up and have been playing it quite a lot. Aside from some minor annoyances, I haven’t encountered any bugs, let alone anything crippling that would require pulling it from sale for A MONTH (back up Jan 20 apparently).

I hope they communicate with us soon.

I really don’t see why they can’t be bothered to hire even one person whose native language is English and is proficient in it, whether they know Japanese or not. Just so they can work out the kinds of kinks you pointed out.
