A translation group going by the name Yaoi Forever has decided to take on a game from Nitro+Chiral called Togainu no Chi. Their blog post shows a full staff as well as some sample pictures from their work in progress. Scripts are currently hosted on the BL Wiki, but it appears a login is required to view them.

Togainu no Chi is a visual novel game released by Nitro+Chiral, the boys love division of popular adult game maker, Nitro+. The story takes place in Japan after the Third Division, a global war that followed in the footsteps of the other World Wars. Japan was in ruins and came to be controlled by two factions at odds with each other: The ConFidential Company in the east, and the Union for the Restoration of Japan in the west.

The protagonist, Akira, was framed for a crime he did not commit. After meeting with a mysterious person from the military, he was told that he could clear himself by participating the Igura, a battle royale to the death. Winners of the Igura receive the priviledge of being able to challenge the Il Re, leader of the criminal organisation Vischio, for his throne. What Akira must do, as a condition for his pardon, is to defeat the Il Re and destroy the Vischio. Thus, Akira heads for the decadent city, Toshima…

    This is good news for BL fans, since it’s been maybe two years since the last pro translation of a BL game, and more since the last fan translation.

    Nice! I’m a bit worried because it’s coming from a Livejournal community, but it’s nice to see that someone’s interested in trying to translate this game.
