CountPacula started up a blog recently to track progress on his translation of Fuguriya’s Sono Hanabira ni Kuchiduke wo, translated as “Kiss for the Petals”. As of July 13, 2008, the approximate progress according to the blog are: translation is 35% done, editing/proofreading is 15% done, inserting is 10% done and graphics editing is 50% done.

This doujin game was originally released by doujin circle Fuguriya in 2006 and is a yuri game featuring the comedic development of romantic love between protagonist Nanami and her partner, Yuna. It contains many wacky references to Maria-sama ga Miteru, the classic yuri franchise, and is likely to be of interest to someone who’s into both the fluff and the smut. The original game spawned three sequel games, a novel and a drama CD. You can obtain the game through any channel that will carry adult doujin games. Furthermore, the game is also available on DLSite. It’s not clear for which version the translation is intended.

Minor nitpick: there are at least three SonoHana novels that I know of… but hey, who’s counting? :3 Thanks for posting this up; more people need to know about these games.
