A translation group going by the name of Witch Hunt has released a partial patch that translates chapters 00 through 02 for episode1 of Umineko no Naku Koro ni. As noted on the site, this patch only works with the episode2 release of the game (which includes episode1).

Umineko no Naku Koro ni is a mystery suspense game written by the creators of the similar Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. The game story takes place on a private and eventually secluded island and as expected from 07th Expansion, there is enough murder and mystery to go around.
