Utawarerumono Translation Released

Today, mirror moon and Soylations finally released their translation of the PC edition of Utawarerumono.
For those who do not know what Utawarerumono is, it is a 2002 adventure visual novel / strategy RPG from Leaf. Originally an adult game, it also has all-ages incarnations as a manga, TV anime series, and Playstation 2 game. It follows the story of Hakuoro, man who awakens in a forest near a village wearing a mask and suffering amnesia. He is soon discovered by a girl named Eruruw, who takes him back to the village and helps him recover. He slowly becomes a villager and takes up their lifestyle. However, when the village becomes threatened by an oppressive ruler, the village begins a rebellion with Hakuoro the leader. However, this is just the start of his battles for the freedom of his country.
This translation, as mentioned earlier, is for the PC version of the game. Also, Ryuusoul says in the release news that he views this version as an open beta, so please do report bugs and mistakes (details at mirror moon’s website). The following downloads are available:

Update (2008-02-09 23:45): Version 1.1 released. This update fixes a known problem with line breaks, as well as gives the option of patching an existing install. The links above have been updated.
